One of the reasons I love living in Austin is b/c of all of the unique family activities you can find, especially outdoor events. This was the 2nd time we went to the kite festival and I swear it had doubled in size. We had to park and walk about a mile away, but the day was worth it. It was also Reader's first family picnic. The weather was perfect, the kites were great and the company was the best, although it could have been a little windier for kite flying purposes.

Zilker Kite Fest
