story of Fluffles

This is Fluffles. LE's cuddle buddy since she was a few months old. She was given to her by my friend, Belinda. She has slept with her almost every night for the past 3 years. He helped her through the binky separation, sleeping in her new bed, spankings, and a new baby sister. He is very loved. We have tried to put Fluffles away numerous times as I don't him to get lost and I know she will want him later in life for a keepsake.
This is a new Fluffles that my mom found on EBay. I got the bright idea to "wash" the original Fluffles and bring out the new Fluffles. Then, I discovered what others have known for awhile, I am not smarter than a 3-year old.
When I gave LE the new Fluffles, she said "Oh, it is a new Fluffles."
"No baby, I just washed him," I replied.
"But, he is white."
Hmmm....
A few minutes later she walked into my room and declared
"You bought a new Fluffles at the store."
"No, I didn't, I just washed him," I said.
"No," she said.
Fast Forward to preparing dinner this evening-
"Momma, can you wash Sprinkles and make him new too?"

I bought Breck a new dolly on ebay a couple years ago to have to save or as a backup in case we lost the original "Dottie Dolly". Well, she calls them "old Dottie" and "new Dottie", and only the old one will do to comfort her!
