Shoes for Orphan Souls, a ministry of Buckner International, has distributed more than 1.5 million pairs of new shoes to at-risk children in the United States and to orphans in 55 countries around the world. While our program has made a difference in many lives, there are still millions of children we can reach – all through a pair of shoes. We are seeking donations of new shoes, socks and shoelaces.

My friend Lindsey Craig from church is collecting shoes for this charity throughout December and January (I can get them to her). The girls had so much fun matching shoes with me and then taking them to the church to "give to other children". Keep in mind these are going to people in 3rd World Countries, so stilettos may not be the best choice. They do take gently used shoes as well as new shoes!
