In one of the chapters of Little House in the Big Woods, Laura's cousin decides to stomp on a yellow jacket's nest.  The wasps went crazy and stung Charlie multiple times.  That was a difficult chapter to think of a project to explore.  We made bumble bees and other objects using our thumb and finger prints.
And why yes, we do all of our craft and school projects in tiaras and ball gowns.
