Silver Dollar City take 2 by LE

Hands down, today was the best day of vacation.  As usual the kids woke up before the grown-ups and watched TV till the grown-ups woke up.  We had a late breakfast at lunchtime (Billy Gail's).
Then, we went to Silver Dollar City.  This time we rode more rides than yesterday.  Today, we rode fire wagon frenzy, Up the Ladder, Fire Spotter, Dizzy Dogs, and so many more I cannot remember them.  We need to go back to Missouri soon.

day three by Boo

For breakfast, I had toast and eggs.  Then, I went to a National Park and I got a new junior ranger badge.  Then Hanky had to go to the doctor because he had bronchitis.  While, my dad, LE, R2 and I all went to the pool.  Then, I went to Lambert's.  I got a grilled cheese.  Then, we wanted rolls so they throwed the rolls toward us.  We also had cinnamon rolls.  But we were all full, so they gave us boxes and so the next morning we could use the cinnamon rolls for breakfast.

day two by Bella

To start my day, I ate a breakfast of pop tart, eggs and toast.  Then, we went to the Titanic museum and saw what happened on the Titanic.  Then, we went back home and went to the pool.  I got to swim with my new goggles. Then, we walked to our room and watched tv.  Then, me and my sister Landry and my Mama all went to see the Chinese Acrobats and they were amazing.  That's my second most favorite thing about Branson.  That proves my day was awesome.

day one by Landry

My day started with yogurt for breakfast.  Mom said we should go to the pool and that's just what we did till lunch.  I enjoyed a lunch of ham sandwich and fruit.  On our way to the pool earlier, we saw a game room which we hung out in after lunch.  There was video games, chess, checkers and foose ball.  There was also the stuff to play shuffleboard and the board was outside.  Dad and I played shuffleboard.  After that we hung out in the game room and had popcorn till supper.
There was spaghetti for dinner.  And then we took walk around Bass Pro Shops.  We went to the Wal-mart to get sugar and goggles (for the pool) and the boys got pool toys.  Then, we went back to the hotel room and everyone went to sleep.

Branson: day of driving

Last month, I got a call from one of my fighters asking if we would like to go to Branson for a week.  He had a timeshare and it was expiring.  They had already been and had plans for this week anyways, so would we want to go.  I was totally blown away.  I called Ben and he was able to take the time off  and our new trainers were able to cover my classes, so we were a go.
It was a twelve hour day, since we have a potty trained kid who can't go in his pull up.  Since we had a late night the night before with Boo's play, most everyone went back to sleep in the car.  Around Dallas, everyone was awake so we stopped for kolaches and our first round of car goodie bags.  HR is really, really into puzzles right now, so I found Look and Find books that kept their attention for a good portion of the day.  The girls received some games RubberNeckers, Mad Libs and, an activity travel book, and The Best Travel Book.

I Never Saw Another Butterfly

Bella was in Christian Classical Theatre's prodution of I Never Saw Another Butterfly.  After weeks of practices and I mean five hour practices some nights, her show was a hit.  Friends commented that she stole the show and I was even asked if I would consider betrothal this early.  She was one of the youngest children in the play and she surprised us when she sang a solo.  There were four performances and Boo was in two.  After the final night, there was a cast party till midnight!  And she tried to convince me to stay for the entire time, we settled on 11 pm.  I think my girl has caught the bug.  She was so nervous, but once curtain went up she loved it.
I really liked all of the friends I made.  I liked how much they appreciated and liked me.  I liked how much Miss Heather made us concentrate and wanted it to be a great play, not just a good one.  Some times she was strict, I know why she was.  -Boo, age 9

Chrismtas: Toby Mac Deep Hits

For Christmas, we gave the girls tickets to see their first concert, Toby Mac.  Ben and I saw DC Talk when we were in high school at Schlitterbahn, so we think it is surreal to be taking the girls to see him 20+ years later; yea he is the coolest 51 year old around.
We also got to see Britt Nicole (Boo's fave), Building 4:29, Colton Dixon, Finding Favor, Hollyn and Capital Kings.
Thank you Mimi and PawPaw for taking the boys so we could make such a fun memory.
